Public health and social work approaches and theories guide my work. Drawing on this background, I view health as a broad construct organizing work within social sector and social change efforts. Improving population and community health requires approaches which not only promote concrete health outcomes, but also address complex social and historical issues, prioritize equity and inclusion, and are culturally rooted.

I seek to understand social service and public health innovation within historical and social contexts, identify potential unwanted impacts, and support continual improvement and accountability.

I work with organizations based in and around Philadelphia, PA, and work remotely with clients located elsewhere.  Although much of my work is remote, I enjoy building mutually rewarding relationships with partner organizations wherever they are located.
